This game is wicked!!! If you liked the series so far, this does not disappoint. Still has that classic style to it! New puzzles with the same sarcastic humor.
The price could always be improved, but they have put allot into this game!
Wish there were way more games like this available!!!
I love the series and have played them all - this one is in my opinion a half star behind the rest...personally I would of liked to see MI 3 redone. The only issue with this game is the lag here and there (mainly cut scenes) and Im on an iPhone 4 so I think this would be awful on the 3GS and lower..then again it lags on the Wii as well so maybe thats just standard...worth the price, great game 4.5/5
This is a faithful revival of the monkey series, with great dialogue, puzzles and scenarios. Well worth the 4.99. I didnt experience any lag on iPhone 4S, everything ran great and the interface translates well to iPhone. Would still like to see the interface tightened up though - the "wheel" cycles through items a little quickly sometimes and it would be great if it were easier to scroll over locations on the island map. Cant wait for the other chapters!
Felt a little short - and yes the frame-rate can dip quite low at times even on iPhone 4 but really Im such a fan of the series I kinda just put that out of mind. Also agree that the "wheel" selector could be tightened up or reworked it felt a bit cumbersome - all in all great dialogue, animation and puzzles with the same spark that had me hooked as a child - want more ;)
Glad to see ol guybrush return. I was reading other reviews, I thought gameplay was excellent on my 3GS, but I dont expect blazing speed on a phone, its still just a phone! Some improvements could be done to that wheel selector, found it jumpy like the one reviewer stated. Otherwise excellent game, worth every cent. cant wait for the next chapter
Great game, but MUCH too short to warrant the $4.99 price tag. I have free apps that have lasted me longer.
Some bad moments
iPhone 6 - iOS 9 - 17.09.2015 - the Sound is not working - tryed all settings- tryed it with ear phones an the iPhone 6 onbord speakers. Sorry, but no sound, no fun at all!
4.99 for this game probably worth the pay, but it is not when the framerate is ANNOYILY SLOW (I mean it, it gets on my nerves)
Seriously, I tried to ignore the fact that its very slow, but the slowness make the lipsync not on the same time as the voice and the whole game just BLAH!
I just cant play with this going on, please fix it!!! D:<
I am starting to think i wasted my money on this...
The game seriously lags... I have the newest iPod, please fix bugs this game will be epic once fixed. I cant get past the picking up the doll part theres a major bug there..... :(
Not enough testing done to ensure proper performance on the iPhone or the thing is just too big to run well. Will consider the PC version instead.
I barely even got through the first intro scene before I stopped playing cause the lag was so horrible! fix this please! it does look like a great game though..
